This morning, we woke up to the news of Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur having tied the knot with Priya Sachdev in a small ceremony in New Delhi last evening.
With Sanjay moving on to start life afresh with Priya, here’s some news on Karisma, who too seems be in a happy space.
It looks like the road blocks on Karisma and boyfriend Sandeep Toshniwal’s way are gradually moving aside. Till now the biggest hindrance in their love story was Sandeep’s wife- Dr Ashrita, as she was not ready to divorce him.
BUT, the latest on this matter has brought a smile on Karisma and Sandeep’s face.

SpotboyE.com has exclusively got to know that Dr Ashrita has had a change of mind and has agreed to divorce Sandeep Toshniwal.
Our reliable sources confirm that the preliminary divorce proceedings have already begun and Ashrita is duly complying with them. The source also said that a few of her close friends explained to Ashrita that there is no use in fighting the case, she will not gain anything in it, in fact, she will end up losing whatever she is currently being offered. Finally, better sense prevailed and Ashrita has now agreed to divorce Sandeep.
We also got to know that the final alimony which is mutually decided between the two parties is Rs 2 Cr to Ashrita, Rs 3 Cr each to both the daughters (11 yrs and 6 yrs each) in lump sum. While the custody of the children will be with Ashrita, Sandeep’s visitation rights are still to be decided. Ashrita’s initial demand was Rs 8 lakh per month. In addition, she will also get to keep the flat in Delhi she is currently residing at.
Sandeep Toshniwal married Ashrita in 2003. Interestingly, Karisma Kapoor who is dating Sandeep Toshniwal also married businessman Sunjay Kapur in 2003. Karisma divorced Sunjay in June 2016.
A few months back, Dr Ashrita accused Sandeep of adultery. However, at that time Toshniwal's advocate, Toban Irani, while defending his client had said, "Dr Ashrita is suffering from a psychological disorder where she feels that people are doing something to her, and she even tends to get aggressive. We have doctor certificates on that, she did not take treatment when the same was detected. This made it difficult for (my client) Toshniwal to continue his marriage with her."
Of late, Karisma and Sandeep are making regular public appearances together. The duo doesn’t hesitate in getting snapped by the paparazzi as well. Be it family functions or friend’s parties, Karisma and Sandeep attend them together.
