Kartik Aaryan And Kriti Sanon's 'Shehzada' To Go On Floors In October This Year-Report

Kartik Aaryan’s career has witnessed a jaw-dropping dropping boost, and he is on a spree to wrap-up his projects and start new ones. The actor is on a proverbial roll and is being praised for completing two films – ‘Dhamaka’ and 'Freddy' - in no time. Furthermore, he has also completed 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', and is currently waiting for its release.
Now, the actor is set to head straight into his next film, where he will play 'Shehzada'. A recent report suggests that Kartik’s next film, directed by Rohit Dhawan, will go on floors in October. The film also stars Kriti Sanon, with whom he has previously worked in ‘Luka Chuppi’. Their pairing was appreciated by the audience.
The ETimes report suggests that the film is a remake of the Allu Arjun-starrer Telugu movie, ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’, featuring Pooja Hegde.
The film is produced by the makers of Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Jersey’, Allu Arvind, Aman Gill and S Radha Krishna. It is also speculated that Manisha Koirala could be a part of the film, playing a role that was done by Tabu in the Telugu original.
Work-wise, Kartik also has Captain India, directed by Hansal Mehta and a few unannounced projects in the pipeline. Kriti on the other hand also has her hands full with Ganapath, Bachchan Pandey and Bhediya.
