Indian Idol 12’s Nihal Tauro Says He Knew Sayli Kamble Had A Boyfriend; Adds ‘He Is A Good Guy’
Indian Idol 12 contestant Nihal Tauro was often linked with Sayli Kamble while on the show.
Indian Idol 12’s second runner-up Sayli Kamble, a few weeks ago, made her relationship with boyfriend Dhawal official on Instagram. She shared a picture of theirs, while introducing Dhawal to the world, professing her love for him. Sayli’s post came in the wake of her constant link-up rumours with Nihal Tauro, another finalist on Indian Idol 12.
During their stint on Indian Idol 12, Sayli and Nihal were often linked with each other. Now, in a recent interview, Tauro too has reacted to this. While speaking with Etimes, Nihal Tauro said he knew that Sayli Kamble had a boyfriend Dhawal as they are close friends and share everything with each other. “Yes. I knew. Sayli and I are very close to each other and tell each other everything. I know Dhawal, he is a good guy,” he added.
Nihal also revealed that Sayli’s boyfriend used to come to watch her performances on Indian Idol 12. When quizzed why the channel never focussed the camera on him, he stated, "Aise achchha nahin lagta na. Or maybe Sayli had told them. I wouldn't know that.”
Both Nihal Tauro and Sayli Kamble had firmly maintained that the two were only close friends during the show. Tauro had earlier told ET, “We call Sayli Bhai and she considers me as her younger brother. We love each other a lot and she is not my sister but a big brother (laughs). There is no romantic angle between us and I know our bonding can give this impression that there’s something going on but trust me there’s no truth to this romantic angle story.”
While Pawandeep Rajan won Indian Idol 12, Arunita Kanjilal stood as the first runner up.
