Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan’s sudden ouster from Karan Johar’s highly-awaited film ‘Dostana 2’ raised many eyebrows. He was in the headlines with media portals carrying different stories about the actor being dropped from the film. After maintaining silence on the same for over two years, Kartik has now finally talked about his removal from Karan’s film Dostana 2 and clarified that money was not the reason.
The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor recently appeared on the popular chat show ‘Aap Ki Adaalat’ where he spoke about being dropped from the film for the first time. When asked why he left the show, Kartik gave a diplomatic answer as he said, “This happens sometimes. I haven't spoken about this before. I believe in what my mother has taught me and these are my value too... when there's an altercation between two people, the younger one should never speak about it. Further, when quizzed if he asked for a huge fee for the film, the 32-year-old actor clarified that he is very greedy, but in terms of the script, not money. “I have never left a film because of money. I am very greedy, but in terms of script and not money,” Kartik said. Last year, Kartik and Karan buried their alleged animosity and were seen dancing and chatting with each other on a stage. The video of the same went viral and proved all is well between them.
Meanwhile, Kartik is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie, Shehzada, which has been directed by Rohit Dhawan. The movie also stars Kriti Sanon, Manisha Koirala, and Paresh Rawal.
