Imtiaz Ali is celebrating his birthday today. He began his career writing and directing TV shows. Imtiaz directed shows like Imtehaan, Naina, and Kurukshetra. In 2005, he made his directorial debut with Socha Na Tha. Since then, he has gone on to direct many films and successfully carved a niche for himself in Bollywood. On the occasion of his birthday, fans took to social media to shower birthday love on the director.

Kartik Aaryan, who is fond of Imtiaz Ali, took to Twitter to share a monochrome picture with Imtiaz and wished him a very happy birthday. Sharing the photo, he wrote, 'Happy birthday to my favourite soul #ImtiazAli.' As many are aware, Kartik starred in Imtiaz Ali's directorial film Love Aaj Kal. The movie also starred Sara Ali Khan. The movie was well-received by the audience.

In one of his posts, Kartik had said that Ali brings out great performances from actors in his movies. Taking to Instagram, Kartik penned a long note and called Imtiaz Ali a magician. 'Imtiaz Ali director nahi hain, jadugar hain! Thank you sir for giving me the best performance of my career yet...,' wrote Kartik. He also claimed that he never experienced the kind of love and appreciation that he got for his performance in Love Aaj Kal.

On the work front, he has interesting projects in the pipeline. Kartik's upcoming films include Dhamaka and Bhool Bhulaiya's sequel. He also has a Rohit Dhawan film in his kitty. Fans are eagerly looking forward to his upcoming movies.
