Katrina Kaif in an interview revealed that Vicky Kaushal also fasted and the special pooja was organised for their first Karwa Chauth
Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s love story seems like a fairy tale. The duo married last year in December after dating for some time. This year was their first Karwa Chauth and as a doting wife, Katrina Kaif also fasted for the whole day for his husband. And that’s not all, Vicky Kaushal, the loving husband also fasted for his wife. Recently in an interview, Kaif shared the experience of her first Karwa Chauth.
While speaking with Pinkvilla, Katrina Kaif mentioned that by the end of the day she was very hungry. She quipped, “I was hungry. [laughs] I have to report to you… everyone had, I mean… all the online, the thing was the moon was going to be seen in Mumbai at 9:01 and it was not seen, I think, till 9:35. And it's almost like your mind is prepared for what it's expected, but after 9 to 9:30, I was like 'I'm hungry! I'm really, really hungry!”
The ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ actress further said that her darling husband also fasted with her the whole day. He did not let her fast alone. She asserted, “But, the sweetest thing was that, of course, Vicky was also fasting. Yes, he also fasted. That, he wouldn't… I'm sure he wouldn't have [let me do it alone], and he didn't even… it's not like I asked him to do it all. I didn't say anything. He did it himself, so that was sweet and of course, our… his parents were also over, so it was our first… because it was our first year of marriage, there's pooja which happens and all that. So, that was lovely.”

Earlier, the ‘Bang Bang’ actress mentioned that due to their work commitments she the URI actor have not got much time to spend together post-marriage. They both had been traveling and away for shoots.
For the unversed, the lovebirds tied the knot in December 2021 in a royal wedding at Six Sense Fort Barware in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan in a close-knit ceremony.
