Katrina Kaif’s Midnight Airport Drama
Katrina Kaif refused to step out of her car at the Mumbai international airport last night, when she got to know that some media photographers were awaiting her arrival. Kat came out only after the shutterbugs were sent away.
Over the past few weeks, it looked like Katrina Kaif’s personality had suddenly undergone a sea change. The famously aloof actress became extremely friendly with the media -- talking and laughing more, even to the extent of being chirpy and bubbly at times.
But you know what, perceptions can be wrong. We mean, TOTALLY wrong. What happened late last night proves just that.
Kat was on her way to London and the shutterbugs were awaiting her arrival at Mumbai’s international airport. Given her recent friendliness, they were optimistic about a few bytes and pics.
But NAHIN! The moment Katrina got to know that there were photographers waiting for her, she refused to step out of the car. We hear, Kat was even ready to risk missing the flight, but was adamant about not coming out until and unless the media left.
Katrina’s team members did try to reason with her, but in vain. Finally, the shutterbugs had to beat a retreat.
We can totally understand Katrina’s reluctance to face the media. Her latest release Baar Baar Dekho failed at the ticket windows and has been panned by critics as well. There’s also the risk of being asked about ex-flame Ranbir Kapoor. Who knows, maybe she didn’t want any queries about Tiger Zinda Hai (the sequel to Ek Tha Tiger) either. Under the circumstances, Kat must have thought it’s better to avoid the media.
Katrina, don’t you know that it never helps to run away from issues? Don’t avoid problems, take them head on.
