Katrina not ready to face Ranbir
Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... The actress walked in at Umang show last night only after RK left the venue
Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif may shoot together for Jagga Jasoos despite their break-up (Gosh! RK, Kat resume Jagga shoot but..., January 18). But at other times, the former lovebirds don’t want to have anything to do with each other. In fact, the lesser they see of one another, the better. The two seemed to have timed their appearances at the Umang 2016 show last night, so that they didn’t have to cross paths.
RK arrived at the event with his father Rishi Kapoor and was by his side the entire evening. The Tamasha actor was even seen chatting with Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra.
On his way out, he bumped into Katrina’s manager and spent a few minutes talking to her.
If Kat’s manager is there, where is the actress herself, you wonder? She was nowhere to be seen. Until then, that is.
5 minutes after RK left the event, she walked in with her Fitoor co-star Aditya Roy Kapur. (Given the precision in timing, we’re guessing her manager had something to do with it.)
Kat even shook leg with host Manish Paul to Chikni Chameli on stage. And when she was not performing, she sought solace in Aditya.
The evening also saw performances by Shah Rukh Khan, Athiya Shetty, Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam.
Sonam Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Kriti Sanon, Tabu, Shilpa and Shamita Shetty looked stunning. Shahid Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar too were present.
Ranveer Singh was all ready with his Malhari act from Bajirao Mastani. Meanwhile, his Mastani Deepika Padukone arrived only towards the end of the evening and didn't get a chance to meet Ranbir.
