While talking to the Times of India. the director recalled the time he first started conceptualising the campaigns for KBC and had to interact with Amitabh Bachchan. He mentioned that he would get very nervous and not know how to go about things. However, Amitabh's cool demeanour would put him at ease and he slowly gathered confidence and started sharing his concepts with him.
When asked if he would like to be on the hotseat of KBC opposite Big B someday, Nitesh Tiwari was quoted as saying, "I have been associated with the show for so many years now, I don't think it would be technically possible for me to participate! And even if I am allowed to participate, I don't know if I will be able to answer the questions because I get very nervous in front of Mr Bachchan. I’m glad to work behind the scenes."
Further, the filmmaker expressed his happiness over the show establishing connect with people over the remote areas. He stated that the show is no longer a game show and that people enjoy watching it as a family.
