KGF Chapter 2: Yash On Being Compared To Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan: ‘Have Grown Up Watching Their Films, They Have Been My Inspiration
Yash talks about his comparison with Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan
South actor Yash is gearing up for the release of his most-awaited film KGF: Chapter 2 which also stars Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon. Yash’s brilliant performance in the trailer has left everyone mighty impressed and fans just can’t wait to see him ablaze the silver screen next week. Yash's fan base and popularity have been growing by leaps and bounds with fans comparing him with Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Yash, in a recent interview, has opened up about this comparison and admitted he has grown up watching their films.
Speaking to Bollywoodlife.com, Yash, on being asked about his comparison with Salman and SRK, said, “I am a cinema kid. I have grown up watching their films. So I would like to add that you know nothing is permanent here. I mean they are superstars and disrespecting them or comparing is not right. They all have been my inspiration to become an actor. The actor further spoke about KGF’s massive craze in Bollywood and asserted that it was planned like that as they wanted to make a pan-India film. He revealed he wants every film that gets released should be panned in India, not just in Hindi or Kannada cinema. “SS Rajamouli sir started this and we continued. I hope to see more of such films being made,” Yash explained.
On a related note, directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF: Chapter 2 will release on April 14, 2022, in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam.
