After much delay, the makers of Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter dropped the first rushes of the film. This afternoon, Ananya and Ishaan took to Instagram to share the first official teaser of the film and we must say we are impressed. After making her debut with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2, Ananya was later seen opposite Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar in Muddasar Aziz’s Pati Patni Aur Woh. After releasing the first look of Ishaan and Ananya from Khaali Peeli, now the official teaser is out. Helmed by Maqbool Khan, the official teaser sees Ananya in never seen before role.
Sharing the official teaser, Ishaan captioned it, “Shaano ki बस्ती mein aa rela hai ik डेढ़ शाना! Chal abb batti bujha, aur dekh #KhaaliPeeli ka गरमा गरम teaser Directed by @macriaan. Coming soon” While Ananya Panday wrote, “Khaali Peeli Chale toh तीखी छुरी, phate toh धमाका! Bole toh बवाल hai yeh ladki Bachke rehna nahi toh #KhaaliPeeli lafda ho jaayega Directed by @macriaan Coming soon!” The 1-minute-19 second trailer opens Ishaan Khatter introducing his and Ananya’s character. Meanwhile, there are also reports that Khaali Peeli might see a digital release in the coming weeks. Earlier reports stated that the producer Ali Abbas Zafar is keen on wrapping up the shoot soon so that he can pursue a digital premiere of the film.
A source close to the makers revealed to Mid-day, “We have a few sequences remaining to be shot with Ishaan and Ananya. Director Maqbool Khan intends to film the portions around August 20 and is in the process of zeroing in on an indoor studio for the two-day shoot.
