In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Kiara Advani said that in real life she wants to meet someone in an old-fashioned way. Talking about it further, Kiara said, “I am old-school when it comes to love. I like to be pursued and wooed, meet someone in more than a digital way. I am a die-hard romantic and believe in true love.” The Good Newwz actress shared that as she is old school when it comes to love, she likes to be pursued and wooed. She mentioned she wants to meet someone in more than a digital way and shared she believes in true love.
As Kiara revealed she is a die-hard romantic, she shared what she feels about online dating. With the plot of her upcoming film Indoo Ki Jawaani being based on dating apps, Kiara said that although dating apps are helping several people to find true love, it would not be appropriate for her. Speaking of being on dating apps, Kiara said, “No, I have never been on a dating app and now, it wouldn’t be convenient. Being a known person has its drawbacks.” As the actress mentioned the drawbacks she could face, talking about dating apps and finding love on them, Advani added, “It is the way forward. I know so many people who have met online and got married. So, it’s great wherever you meet your soulmate, medium doesn’t matter.”
Meanwhile, during the interview, Kiara Advani also spoke about her character from Indoo Ki Jawaani. The actress shared that she plays the role of a small-town girl who is just discovering online dating and mentioned that her idea of love is similar to that of her on-screen character. Speaking of the film, Indoo Ki Jawaani also stars Aditya Seal apart from Kiara Advani in pivotal roles.
