Sikandar Kher went live on Instagram Thursday and interacted with his fans and followers. He also gave a sneak peek into how his mother Kirron Kher, who is currently battling cancer, has been recuperating. She assured all her fans that she is better these days. Kirron Kher also revealed that she has been staying at home and is fed up with remaining indoors. She is currently watching Korean dramas and is not thinking about Bollywood.
"I'm fed up of being closed up in the house, just watching TV. That's very boring. After a while, I start switching off what I am seeing also," she said. During the live session, one fan commented that he resembles Kirron. "Mom, people say I look like you. I am so sorry," he said. As she asked why, he said, "As in, for your sake." She replied saying, "No, you are such a handsome man."
The actor also said that Kirron should have had a daughter as she would have looked as beautiful as her. To this, she asked him to get married soon. "You get married. I have so many sarees and jewellery, who will I give all these things?" Sikandar joked that he will wear her sarees. "Main pehnunga aapki saariyaan. Main pehnunga, Maa kasam," he said. During the Instagram live, Kirron also asked her son to spend more time with her. "I am very happy tumne yeh kiya, kam se kam tumhaari shakal dekhne ko mila," she said. Earlier this year, Anupam and Sikandar announced that the actress is suffering from multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. Anupam Kher too has been sharing her health updates.
