Konkona Sen Sharma And Ranvir Shorey Are Now Officially Divorced – Reports
Konkona Sen Sharma and Ranvir Shorey who tied the knot in 2010 have now officially been divorced. The couple has been living separately since 2015.
Konkona Sen Sharma and Ranvir Shorey who tied the knot in 2010 in a private ceremony with only their family and close friends have now officially been divorced, as reported by ETimes. Ranvir and Konkona are proud parents to their son, Haroon. The news was confirmed by Amruta Sathe Pathak who is Konkona's lawyer. She also said that the divorce was amicably done as the legal separation has been put forth by mutual consent. As per the reports, the couple's marriage hit rock bottom in 2013, however, they called it quits in 2015 and filed for legal separation. Despite many ups and downs in their relationship, they tried their best to keep their marriage going.
Konkona and Ranvir even underwent detailed counselling but couldn’t give their marriage another shot and hence, they chose the legal way to part ways. Having said that, they are now officially divorced. A source tells ETimes, "They came and left separately but nevertheless, this is one of the most peaceful divorces that one has seen in a long time. There is absolutely no animosity between the two. Sad of course that they couldn't reconcile as a couple but who can control destiny?" Meanwhile, Ranvir and Konkona have starred together in films like Traffic Signal, Aaja Nachle, Gour Hari Dastaan- The Freedom File and Mixed Doubles.
On their professional front, Ranvir recently was seen in Irrfan Khan and Radhika Madan's Angrezi Medium and Kunal Kemmu's Lootcase. While, speaking on Konkona, she is gearing up for her film, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare also starring Bhumi Pednekar. The film is expected to release on Netflix.
