The Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer Luka Chuppi that released last month went on to mint good money at the box-office. The movie did more than Rs 95 crore and was called a big hit, considering its budget. However, after a month into the release, speculations grew abound that the two are not on talking terms now. According to DNA, "Kriti and some of the people around her were of the opinion that Kartik was trying to hijack the success of the movie. They felt that the actor was making it seem like he was the sole contributor to the success and that others like the director (Laxman Utekar) and leading lady (Kriti) were significantly unimportant to the process".


Another source stated, "What started as niggling unhappiness soon took the form of extended silence. It’s been conjectured that Kriti did her own damage control by getting herself covered in the media because she had a parallel role to Kartik in the film. And, as such, she should also get equal credit." Also, recently during a media interaction Kriti stressed on the importance of giving equal credit to the female lead. Now, amidst all these rumours, the Luka Chuppi pair has together come out on social media to clear the air. Kartik tweeted, "Ajii sunti ho !!!
Guddu aur Rashmi ke Pyaar ki khabar chapne ki bajaay, Ye kaunsi khabar chhap gayi akhbaar mein 🤪 Abhi toh humaari shaadi ke '50 days' hue hain bas , aur log afwaahein phailaane lage @kritisanon ❤😘 #LukaChuppi"

Kriti replied, "Hahaha!! 🤣 haan main bhi yehi padh rahi hoon.. too much nazar on our ‘duniya’.. 😜 anyways.. when are you taking me out to celebrate our 50days Anniversary?😌❤️🤗"

Their fun conversation clearly hints that this is a case of misreading the situation as we rarely get to see two actors simultaneously coming out and denying a report. Indeed, all's well that ends well.
