As per the reports, Kriti Sanon has reportedly slashed her fees and it is being said that her casting in Adipurush was the reason for the new backstep in her career. The actress played the female protagonist of the movie and portrayed the powerful character of Sita Mata and she received a remuneration of approximately Rs 3 crores for her role. The actress has been facing a lot of ‘unnecessary’ backlash due to her portrayal of Sita in the film, reported BollywoodLife. Amid the upheaval, Kriti’s mom shared a cryptic post owing to the negativity around her daughter’s latest release and said that shouldn't judge but only see the person's will on why they did what they did.

She wrote in Hindi: "Jai Shri Ram. Jaki rahi bhavna jaisi, prabhu moorat dekhi tin tesi. Iska arth hai ki achi soch aur drishthi se dekho toh srishthi sundar dikhayi degi. Bhagwan Ram ne hi humein sikhaya hai ki Shabri ke ber main uska prem dekho, na ki yeh ki voh jhoothe the. Insaan ki galtiyon ko nahi uski bhavnao ko samjho. (Lord Ram himself has taught us to see the love with which Shabri offered 'ber' and not at the fact that they were half eaten. Adipurush, which also stars Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan, has stirred up controversy over its dialogues, which many opined were ‘tapori’. The film was criticized for its sexual content. To everyone’s surprise, the mythological epic was produced with a staggering budget exceeding Rs 500 crore.
