Kriti Sanon is on cloud nine. Her latest film Luka Chuppi, directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijjan, has run away to success. The first 2 days itself have yielded Rs 17.5 cr, which is definitely something go celebrate. The film's budget is not high (only if all makers understood tbe dynamics of today's times) and so it's definitely a profitable venture. Importantly, the film has received a fair share of good reviews.
The pairing of Kriti with Kartik Aaryan was new, the director was a debutant, Kriti's last film Raabta hadn't lived up to expectations and Kartik wanted to ensure that he pulled off another good one after Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. After a nice Friday at the ticket windows in contrast to Sonchiriya which is a non-starter at least so far, Kriti could not conceal her excitement and drove away to a few theatres to check how the janta was reacting. And boy! She returned jubiliant. The response was amazing, aur jab aap apni aankhon se dekhte ho toh baat hi kuch aur hoti hai.
