Kareena Kapoor Khan turned showstopper for ace designer Gaurav Gupta at the Lakme Fashion Week 2021
Kareena Kapoor Khan has returned to the runway after a brief hiatus as she recently walked the ramp for designer Gaurav Gupta at the Lakme Fashion Week 2021. Bebo rocked the ramp as the showstopper at the star-studded fashion gala. Kareena sashayed down the runway looking no less than a diva in a white mermaid-style gown. In an attempt to make sustainability sexy, the outfit Kareena wore was made from fabrics created with wrappers of crisps and biscuits, plastic bottles, and other daily consumables that have been excavated from oceans and landfills.
A video of Kareena walking the ramp at the fashion gala has been shared by a popular celebrity photographer on Instagram. It showed the actress setting the ramp on fire with her stylish look. She posed with utmost grace and perfection. Her makeup also looked on point.
To amp up her runway look, the actress opted for a sleek, centre-parted hairdo, kohl-rimmed eyes, defined eyebrows, and complemented it with a bold, plum-hued lipstick.
Lakme Fashion Week, in association with FDCI, marked the return of Kareena Kapoor Khan as the showstopper post her pregnancy. While speaking to News18.com, the actress said, “It feels great to be back on the ramp and I am really looking forward to Lakme Fashion Week this season. It has been a challenging year for all of us and what better way to celebrate the resilience and spirit of this industry and its people. “
Lakme Fashion Week was held between October 5 and 10, 2021, and showcased India’s leading designers including Tarun Tahiliani, AK-OK by Anamika Khanna, Abraham & Thakore, MXS by Monisha Jaising and Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Satya Paul by Rajesh Pratap Singh, Pankaj & Nidhi, Troy Costa, Gaurang and many more.
