Lakme Fashion Week, Day 5: Gully Boy Ranveer Singh Is At It Again; Entertains And Jumps Into The Crowd- Watch Videos

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt are inching towards the release of their upcoming film Gully Boy. While the duo is yet to kickstart with promotion of the film, the over-excited ‘Gully Boy’ took the opportunity and rapped live in front of the audience on the last day of Lakme Fashion Week, Summer/Resort Collection 2019. While the show was concluded by the brand ambassador Kareena Kapoor Khan with designers Shantanu Nikhil, prior to that Ranveer took over the ramp.
Looking dapper in an all-black look, the Gully Boy actor was up and about displaying his antics in front of the audience. With his live rap performance, he set the stage ablaze. Watch all the videos right here. Just like at the music launch of Gully Boy, once again the actor jumped on the crowd.
Directed by Zoya Akhtar, Gully Boy, which is set to hit the theatres on Valentine’s Day, is the story of Mumbai-based rappers Divine and Naezy. Talking about film, Ranveer told at the trailer launch, “When somebody told me about the script of Gully Boy, I told them that it is my film. If any other actor would have been a part of this film instead of me then I would have got burnt with jealousy. I was born to do Gully Boy and I knew only I can pull off this character. It’s a coming together of too many things that are very dear to me. It has rap, hip-hop music which I loved since I was a kid and it is set in my motherland Mumbai.”
