Actress Lara Dutta, of late, has been making headlines for multiple reasons. She is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming Lionsgate Play series titled ‘Hiccups and Hookups’. The actress is on a promotional spree for the same and has been leaving no stone unturned to ensure that her debut web show becomes a massive hit amongst the audience. Recently, a journalist shared a picture with Lara from media interactions. Notably, what caught the fancy of her one fan was Lara’s phone cover.

While pointing out that Lara Dutta has apparently not changed her phone cover in two years, the fan commented on the photo, “Me sochta tha yaar hum jaise log hi garib hote hai...... ab Lara Dutta G ko hi dekhlo unhone apna mobile cover 2 saalo se change nahi kiya hai (I thought it was people like me who are poor but look at Lara Dutta. She hasn't changed her mobile cover in two years).”

The Bell Bottom actress was quick to take note of it and replied saying that some things have sentimental value. Lara tweeted, “Correct!!!. Kyunki kuch cheezon ki sentimental value bhi hoti hain!!!.”

A few days ago, Lara Dutta had issued a clarification about her fake profiles on dating apps. In an Instagram post, she wrote, “Since yesterday, my feed has been absolutely flooded with some memes and some messages, they have been telling me that I have a profile on some kind of a dating app. So, it's been absolutely crazy, I have been going nuts since yesterday, trying to answer people one by one and tell them what the truth really is. So, I thought it is better to just go online and clarify it with you right here, right now that I am not on any dating app, have never been and am not on any right now either.”

Talking about ‘Hiccups and Hookups,’ the show has been directed by Kunal Kohli and also features Prateik Babbar, Divya Seth, Nassar Abdullah, Khalid Siddiqui, and Meiyang Chang. It will stream on Lionsgate Play from November 26.
