Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar turned 92 years old today, Bharat Ratna and France's Legion of honour singer, was showered with birthday wishes by Bollywood celebrities. Besides, celebs the list also included honorable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, and prominent figures from the political world. Juhi Chawla, Madhur Bhandarkar, Shaan, Dharmendra, PM Narendra Modi, Maharashtra’s CM Uddhav Thackeray, Raj Thackeray and more. Dharmendra in his Tweet mentioned the singer is the world’s most beloved singer, hoping she stays happy.

Dharmendra's tweet read, “Happy Birthday to dearest Lata ji . World’s most beloved singer, my loving Lata ji,  aap ka saaya hameesha hum sab pe bana rahe ……….aap hameesha  khush rahen sehatmand rahne” Juhi Chawla in her Tweet shared planting 100 trees on the legend's birthday and encouraged the radio channel to keep playing the legendary singer’s songs. Her tweet read, “A 100 trees for the legendary Lataji on her  birthday Radio sun rahi thi , aapke 70’s ke gaane baj rahe the , aapki aawaz ko sunkar aisa laga jaise ,phoolon ki baarish ho rahi hai , jaise Gangaji beh rahi  hai with much  love and respect.”

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar shares there is not a single day in his life that goes without listening to her songs. Wishing Lord Ganesha gives her long and healthy life. Iconic sarod player and composer Amjad Ali Khan too wished her, with a throwback picture also featuring late PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee.



Wishing the legend, PM Narendra Modi in his tweet praised her melodious voice, her passion for the Indian culture, further wishing a great source of strength.
