Lata Mangeshkar had been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai in the early hours of Monday, after she complained of having difficulty in breathing. While there were reports of Lata Mangeshkar having been discharged from the hospital, SpotboyE confirmed that she is still in the hospital. We spoke to her sister Usha Mangeshkar who gave us updates about her health and said that while Lata Mangeshkar is doing better, considering her age, they thought it would be better if she was in the hospital for another day or two. Now, Bollywood stars Poonam Dhillon and Shabana Azmi took to their social media and wished for her speedy recovery.


Shabana Azmi took to Twitter to wish for her speedy recovery and sent her prayers. She wrote, “@mangeshkarlata Aadab aur hazaron duayein ke aap fauran achchi hokar sahi salamat ghar aa jayein ..” Poonam Dhillon also appealed to her fans to pray for Lataji’s health. She wrote, “Request you all to say a prayer for health of @mangeshkarlata ji our irreplaceable precious Indian jewel who is in hospital . Talking to SpotboyE yesterday about Lata Mangeshkar’s health, her sister Usha Mangeshkar said, "She will be fine. She had developed viral fever and a stomach issue. Aajkal medicines aur technology achchi hai, so it works. But again, as I said she is 90, so we thought that it would be better that we don't treat her at home."

We wish for the speedy recovery of Lata Mangeshkar.
