Lata Mangeshkar Health Update: Singer Will Take Time To Recover Due To Her Age, Shares The Doctor
Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar is undergoing her treatment at Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai after she tested positive for COVID-19 in the last week. Now as per an update from ANI News Dr Pratit Samdani who is treating the singer shared the singer continues to remain in the hospital in the ICU and will take more time to recover due to her old age. The Tweet read, “Singer Lata Mangeshkar is still in the ICU ward and we are monitoring her health. She will take time to recover due to her old age: Dr Pratit Samdani, who is treating her at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital” 

Abhishek Bachchan praying for her speedy recovery tweeted, “Prayers for your speedy recovery @mangeshkarlata” Along with COVID-19, she was also detected with Pneumonia. Just yesterday her sister Asha Bhosle confirmed the news of Lord Shiva’s Rudra puja being organised at the ailing singer’s Peddar road residence for her well being. The singer said, “Unke ghar par (Prabhukunj, Peddar Road) Shiv Bhagawan ke rudras bithaye hain aur puja-paath kar rahe hain for her recovery.”

Prior to her, Lataji’s sister Usha Mangeshkar shares that family members are not allowed to meet the singer as the virus is contagious. Back in 2019, the singer was hospitalised for lung ailment and pneumonia.

Lata Mangeshkar is 92 years old; after she tested positive she got in touch with one of her staff members, who too was tested positive.
