Lata Mangeshkar Is On Ventilator; Legendary Singer's Health Condition Deteriorates Again And Will Remain In The ICU Under Doctor's Observation
Lata Mangeshkar's health has deteriorated again and she will remain in the ICU under doctor's observation. The legendary singer had contracted with COVID-19 and was rushed to Breach Candy Hospital wherein she was also diagnosed with pneumonia. Her team has been sharing her health updates. As per the latest statement released from her doctor, her 'health condition has deteriorated again'.

The statement from Dr Pratit Samdani, as reported by ANI read, "Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar's health condition has deteriorated again, she is critical. She is on a ventilator. She is still in ICU and will remain under the observation of doctors."

It was earlier reported that while there were improvements in her health, doctors were waiting for her to recover completely to discharge her. The legendary singer's close friend Anusha Srinivasan had earlier shared that, "she is showing signs of improvement but will remain under observation of the team of doctors headed by Dr Pratit Samdani. The veteran singer's team had also requested everyone not to spread any 'disturbing rumours' about Lata Didi's health. Taking to Twitter, her team had tweeted, "There is a marginal improvement in Lata Didi's health and she continues to be in the ICU. Kindly refrain from spreading disturbing rumours or falling prey to random messages regarding Didi's health. Thank you."

Previously, speaking to ETimes, veteran singer Asha Bhosle had also shared an update and said, "They aren't allowing anybody. I went once but wasn't allowed inside the compound itself. There are severe restrictions and protocols being followed in view of the ongoing pandemic. Besides, I too am not very well - a bit of cough and cold. I haven't contracted COVID, just a bit under the weather."
