Late Dilip Kumar’s Wife And Veteran Actress Saira Banu Hospitalised; Actress Shifted To ICU Ward Today

As per the latest report, Saira Banu was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai after she complained of issues related to blood pressure. She has been shifted to the ICU ward today.

Veteran actress Saira Banu, who lost her husband and legendary actor, Dilip Kumar, on July 7, has been admitted to the hospital. She is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital. As per the ANI report, the actress had been complaining of blood pressure 3 days back when her health suddenly deteriorated. The news agency tweeted, “Actor Saira Banu, wife of late veteran actor Dilip Kumar, was admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Khar, Mumbai after she complained of issues related to blood pressure three days ago. She has been shifted to the ICU ward today.”

The report also states that it's been three days since the 77-year-old actress had been hospitalised and is now keeping fine.



Saira Banu suffered a personal loss when the legendary icon of Indian cinema and husband Dilip Kumar left for his heavenly abode on July 7, 2021. Since then, the yesteryear actress has been trying to come to terms with her husband’s tragic demise. The 98-year-old actor was battling prolonged age-related health issues and all through this had his wife Saira Banu and close friends by his side.

Dilip Kumar was accorded full state honours and his last rites saw an ocean of fans, well-wishers and celebrities paying respects on his final journey.
