Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14, allegedly by suicide in his Mumbai residence. The CBI team is currently investigating SSR’s death case, while several theories surrounding his sudden and untimely demise have been made. With many curious to know the reason behind Sushant’s mysterious death, a movie based on the late actor, nepotism, and mafia in Bollywood is in the making. As SSR’s lookalike Sachin Tiwari is set to star in the film Suicide or Murder, showcasing the dark side of Bollywood, as per latest reports, he is already in the eye of a legal storm.
According to a report in ETimes, producer Marut Singh and director Sanoj Mishra have sent a legal notice to late Sushant Singh Rajput’s lookalike Sachin Mishra accusing him of going ahead and sharing the story idea with another producer. Talking about it, producer Marut Singh said, "It has been a month since we sent a legal notice to Sachin Tiwari but he has not responded yet. It is very disheartening that he is neither picking our calls nor responding on the legal notice. Recently I came to know Sachin has shared the crux of the film with other producers and directors,.”
While the makers of the film Shashank did not name the producer or director, the reports claimed how it is known that Sachin Tiwari is working with producer Vijay Shekhar Gupta on the film Suicide or Murder. Speaking about sharing the details with Sachin Tiwari, director Sanoj Mishra claimed, “To make a film on the nepotism prevailing in Bollywood and the sudden and suspicious death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput was our brainchild. We had narrated the script and project details to Sachin Tiwari, but unfortunately he ditched us and passed on the concept to other filmmakers.”
Meanwhile, Vijay Shekhar Gupta told Hindustan Times that he signed a proper contract with Sachin Tiwari and mentioned that Sanoj Mishra has not. Gupta also claimed that the papers that Sanoj handed over to Sachin were fraudulent and mentioned that the film’s name or amount payable to Tiwari was not mentioned. On the other hand, taking about Sachin Tiwari, Gupta said, “Sachin is an innocent kid who does not know the city well. This guy (Sanoj), I have never met him. Director Sanoj Mishra said that the film Shashank will feature the dark side of Bollywood.
