Power couple Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are all set to walk down the aisle next month and preparations for their wedding will begin this week. The duo will be jetting off to New Delhi for their pre-wedding functions and marriage. Post their dreamy nuptials, Richa and Ali will host a grand and starry wedding reception for their industry friends in Mumbai. And, we have learned that the couple skipped a conventional venue and choose a space inside a 176-year-old mill for the bash.
A source revealed to us that the soon-to-be-married couple has ditched the conventional banquet style of a reception-like experience. Their reception will take place at the iconic The Great Eastern Home, which is a contemporary furniture store inside a 176-year-old mill. The space has hosted a variety of weddings, parties, fashion shows, festivals, etc. The insider added that Richa and Ali’s wedding planners will be decorating this space as per the couple’s tastes and choices.
“The space is expected to be turned into a pretty lavish experiential space as per the couples briefs with decor to have elements expected to be suited to their off screen personality,” the source mentioned. Meanwhile, Richa and Ali’s wedding will be attended by their close industry friends from Bollywood as well as from Hollywood. Hollywood actors Judi Dench and Gerard Butler, some production people, and the cast of the spy thriller series Tehran are among the Hollywood invitees. Richa and Ali, who met on the sets of their film Fukrey, are finally getting married after dating each other for seven years.
