The first glimpse of Vijay Deverakonda from his highly-awaited film ‘Liger’ is out and it has left everyone mighty impressed
Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer upcoming Pan India film ‘Liger’ has been in the headlines ever since it went on floors. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film will see Deverakonda in never seen before action avatar. While there is much curiosity among fans to see the first glimpse of the actor, the much-awaited first look of Vijay from the movie is out and it has left everyone stunned. From undergoing massive physical transformation to doing high-octane action sequences, Vijay’s beast look in the first teaser will make your jaw drop.
Taking to his Twitter handle, the Arjun Reddy actor shared the first teaser of Liger and wrote, “Glimpse. That's it. #LigerFirstGlimpse#Liger.” The intriguing teaser shows the inspiring story of a slumdog of Mumbai streets becoming a champion in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) sport. The video begins with an MMA commentator introducing Vijay as Liger, giving all the elevation to his character. “Introducing the boy from India… Slum Dog Of Streets Of Mumbai… The Chai Wala… Liger…” He is seen uttering two small yet impactful dialogues in the first glimpse. He says, “We are Indians,”-which shows his love for the country, and “Vaat Lagaa Denge”-shows his aggressive attitude.
The Dear Comrade star makes a power-packed entry wearing the Indian flag in the teaser, which has taken the internet by storm. Vijay’s jaw-dropping beast avatar, with a ripped physique, sporting a cornrows hairdo along with a ponytail, is quite inspiring and is beyond praise. Also starring, Ramya Krishnan and Ronit Roy in prominent roles, Liger is slated to hit the theatres worldwide on 25th August 2022.
