Karan Johar took to Instagram to share BTS photos of Vijay Deverakonda from the sets of Liger
As the first promo of Vijay Deverakonda's pan-India movie Liger is set to be out tomorrow, producer Karan Johar took to Instagram to share the actor's behind-the-scenes photos from the sets of the film. The BTS pictures will leave you wanting for more. In the first picture which happens to be candid, Vijay is seen holding a camera. In another pic, he can be seen having a discussion with director Puri Jagannadh.
Sharing the photos, KJo wrote in the caption, "An exclusive glance of the world of #Liger behind the camera! #LigerFirstGlimpse on Dec 31st @ 10.03AM." Reacting to it, many fans dropped fire and heart emojis on the post. A fan dropped a comment saying, "Wonderful." Another user wrote, "Wow." On Wednesday, Karan shared a video and announced the release date of the first glimpse of the movie. Sharing a video, KJo wrote, "It's almost time to unleash the beast to the nation! Starting your new year with a bang and a few punches! #LigerFirstGlimpse on DEC 31st @ 10:03AM."
Apart from Vijay, Liger also stars Ananya Panday, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ramya Krishnan, Ali among others. Boxing champion Mike Tyson will also make an extended cameo appearance in the movie. Previously, Ananya and Vijay had shared photos with the boxing champion on their respective social media handles. Helmed by Puri Jagannadh, Liger will see Vijay as a mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter.
Liger which is being made in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, is slated to release in theatres on August 25, 2022.
