The latest episode of Kangana Ranaut-hosted show Lock Upp was an emotional one. Munawar Faruqui talked about his mother's passing and it left everyone teary-eyed. After he shared the details about his mother's suicide, Poonam Pandey revealed that she tried killing herself many times when she was in a relationship with her ex-husband Sam Bombay. In earlier episodes as well, Poonam has shared many shocking details about her relationship.

While talking to Saisha Shinde, Poonam, who is one of the most talked-about contestants, shared that she saw herself in Munawar's mother as he had revealed that she suffered domestic abuse for years and that she wasn't happy.

Poonam then revealed that she gave enough chances to save her marriage, but she wasn't given the respect she deserved. She added that she got drunk and cut her wrists many times. She even showed her injuries to Saisha. Poonam went on to add that she drank poison and even thought of jumping off from her building, via DNA. In one of the earlier episodes of Lock Upp, Poonam had revealed that she suffered domestic abuse for four years from her ex-husband Sam Bombay. She had accused him of hitting her around her nose area and revealed that its after-effects are still there. She had said, "I visited a lot of doctors. Even if I touch the area around my nose, it pops up. I cry and it pops up."

Poonam had also accused Sam Bombay of being an alcoholic and shared that she was 'beaten up like a dog'.
