Looop Lapeta: Taapsee Pannu And Tahir Raj Bhasin To Star In Indian Adaptation Of German Flick Run Lola Run
Taapsee Pannu’s diary must be choc-o-bloc for sure, amidst news of her next release Thappad, comes in the announcement of yet another flick titled Looop Lapeta. Backed by Atul Kasbekar’s Ellipsis Entertainment in association with Sony Pictures, Looop Lapeta is a remake of German classic film, Run Lola Run. This thriller comedy will release on January 29, 2021
Several names were doing the rounds of the internet such as Sonam Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Taapsee Paanu, in the race to star in the Indian remake of German classic flick, Run Lola Run. Well the winner of this race is Taapsee Pannu, a big round of applause for the actress. Taapsee landing a role in this flick clearly proves of the actress no more in need of a hero to get the box office numbers ringing for her. True!
Taapsee Pannu has been roped in by ace photographer-producer Atul Kasbekar’s next titled Looop Lapeta. This thriller-comedy will see Taapsee along with Tahir Raj Bhasin. The announcement was made by Atul on his Instagram handle today morning. Going ahead to mark the release date of the flick too in his post, he mentioned of booking January 29, 2021 for its release. In his post he revealed of film’s script to have taken 3 years to make it bang on, further thanking the writers; meanwhile the project will see an ad filmmaker Aakash Bhatia, making his directorial debut.
His post read, “Next film announcement...!!! Ellipsis Entertainment is delighted to partner with Sony Pictures Films India to present a clutter-breaking, thriller-comedy for the new generation – "LOOOP LAPETA," an adaptation of the iconic German classic "Run Lola Run". ..This one's headlined by TAAPSEE PANNU and TAHIR RAJ BHASIN whom we're hugely excited to be working with! . Worldwide release on 29th January, 2021.”
