Shabaash Mithu Poster: Taapsee Pannu Dons The Jersey For Mithali Raj Biopic, Be Prepared For Major Goosebumps
After announcing Shabaash Mithu – a biopic on Mithali Raj, captain of the Indian women's national cricket team – Taapsee Pannu has now shared the first look poster of the film. Donning India’s jersey, Taapsee's fierce AF look will surely give you goosebumps. The film is slated to release on February 5, 2021.
Right from playing strong characters in films like Baby, Pink to mainstream drama like Badla, Saand Ki Aankh to what not, Taapsee Pannu has been on roll and how. Now trying hands at different genres, the Game Over actress is now gearing up for a sports-drama, Shabaash Mithu- a biopic on Mithali Raj, captain of the Indian women's national cricket team. Reports of Taapsee starring in Raj biopic was doing the rounds for quite some time, but it was on skipper’s birthday when Pannu took to social media and announced her next, Shabaash Mithu.
Now to tease her fans more, Taapsee Pannu has shared the first look official poster of the film. Donning India’s jersey, Taapsee also announced the release date. Sharing the first look poster, Taapsee captioned it, “I have always been asked who’s your favourite male cricketer but you should ask them who their favourite female cricketer is.” The statement that made every cricket lover pause n introspect that do they love the game or the gender playing it. Before releasing the official poster, Taapsee teased her fan with a teaser of her look from the film. The film is slated to release on February 5, 2021.
On Mithali’s birthday, Judwaa 2 actress posted a few pictures her birthday celebrations and wished her while announcing her next. She wrote in the caption, “Happy Happy Birthday Captain @mithaliraj!
