Days after the passing of her mother, Snehalata Dixit, Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit took to her social media handle and penned a heartfelt and emotional note. The grieving actress expressed how her mother’s passing still feels surreal. Sharing an old picture with her mother, the actress reminisced about her teachings in life.
On Monday, taking to Instagram, Madhuri wrote, “Woke up this morning to find Aai’s room empty. It feels surreal.She taught us to embrace and celebrate life.She gave so much to so many people. We will miss her dearly but she will live on in our memories. Her wit, positivity and grace were infectious. We will celebrate her life together through our memories. Fans and netizens condoled the actress and many shared well wishes in the comment section of the post. For the unversed, the 55-year-old’s mother breathed her last on Sunday at the age of 91. Madhuri and her husband Dr Shriram Nene had shared the sad new through a joint statement. For the unversed, Madhuri is the youngest of her siblings, she has an older brother and two elder sisters. The actress lost her father Shankar Dixit in 2013, at the age of 91.
On the work front, she was last in Amazon Prime Video’s Maja Ma in 2022. Directed by Anand Tiwar, the movie also starred Ritwik Bhowmik, Barkha Singh, Gajraj Rao and Sheeba Chaddha in pivotal roles.
