Actor Madhuri Dixit, a self-made icon and arguably the best dancer of Bollywood turned a year older on Saturday. She is celebrating her 54th birthday today. As the birthday wishes from her fans are coming in order, her husband Dr Shriram Nene shared a lovely birthday message for her where he called her his ‘soulmate’. Sharing a throwback picture of the two where we see a younger Madhuri and Shriram posing for a click while flashing their warm smiles, Dr Nene said that their journey has been amazing and now he looks forwards to the road ahead.

He took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Happy Birthday to my soul mate,  @MadhuriDixit Life has been an amazing journey for us together and I look forward to the road ahead. Much Love and many happy returns of the day! #HappyBirthdayMadhuriDixit #DrNene” Apart from her husband, Madhuri co-stars like Anil Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh have also penned sweet birthday wishes for her. Her Beta co-star shared some old pictures with Dixit and backed it with, “Happy Birthday, @MadhuriDixit! As actors I feel all of us are happiest on the sets, especially if you are working with friends...so I’m looking forward to being on set with you again! Wishing you all the health & happiness always!!”

While her Total Dhamaal co-star Deshmukh also shared some candid photos with her and wrote, “Happy Birthday to the most beautiful  @MadhuriDixit  mam, Working with you was my absolute dream come true ... I wish you happiness, love, best of health and May god fullfill your wish to work with me (again) real soon. Have a great great day.”




Back in the 90s, Madhuri Dixit had the most glorious film career. At the age of 27, Madhuri had delivered blockbusters like Tezaab, Ram Lakhan, Tridev, Parinda, Dil, Saajan, Beta, and Khalnayak. There was a time when her remuneration was higher than Salman Khan in Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. Madhuri was the reigning queen of the box office. We wish her a very happy birthday.
