Actor and director Mahesh Manjrekar was recently in the news for hosting a birthday bash which was graced by his longtime friend and actor Salman Khan and Indian Idol 12 contestants. According to the latest report, he has undergone a surgery. Yes, you read that right! The actor was diagnosed with urinary bladder cancer a few days back and the doctors suggested that he go for the surgery.
According to ETimes, the operation was carried out at Mumbai's H N Reliance Foundation Hospital at Charni Road. The filmmaker and actor went through the surgery nearly ten days ago and remained admitted to the hospital for a few days. ETimes further reported that he is now back home and feeling absolutely fit and fine. He is on his way to recovery.
He recently celebrated his birthday at home. Salman Khan graced his birthday bash. Other than that, Indian Idol 12 contestants Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, Sayli Kamble, Nihal Tauro, Shanmukhapriya, Ashish Kulkarni and Nachiket Lele also attended his birthday bash.
