Anupam Kher recently shared Mahima Chaudhary's story of courage and her fight against breast cancer on social media. The Pardes actress, who broke down while revealing she lost her hair to the illness, is currently recovering from cancer. In a recent interview, Mahima revealed how her family, especially her daughter Ariana has been her pillar of strength. The actress mentioned that her daughter chose to stay at home as she didn't want to risk the Covid 19 virus from coming home.
Speaking to ETimes, Mahima said, "She categorically told me that she'll stay at home because she didn't want to risk the COVID virus from coming home as I was in my recovery stage. So, she didn't go to school when it reopened after the COVID phase. The Daag: The Fire actress has been receiving immense love and support from her loved ones and industry friends ever since she revealed her breast cancer diagnosis. Breast cancer survivor and TV actress Chhavi Mittal penned an inspiring note for Mahima. In her post, she stated that her battle scars will make her emerge even stronger. Sharing a selfie with Mahima, Chhavi wrote, " You are braver than you give yourself credit for. The scars that a cancer patient carries are not the ones the world sees on the body, but the ones the soul carries deep within. And your battle scars are what will make you emerge even stronger…Love and love and more love to you #Cancerwarrior.”
Meanwhile, Mahima is making her comeback to acting with the upcoming film titled ‘The Signature with’ Anupam Kher. The project marks Kher’s 525th movie. Both the actors are currently in the US for the shoot.
