Malaika Arora is a fitness freak. She, on a daily basis, is clicked by the paps outside her pilates studio in the city and the fit actress always poses and smiles for them. As the photographers are said to have keen eye for every detail of the celebs, they noticed a very interesting aspect of Malaika's fitness. And their consequent question left Malaika laughing. Dressed in black crop top and white shorts, Malaika carried a transparent water bottle in her hand. But the water was not transparent as it should be. It was black in colour. On spotting that, one paparazzo couldn’t resist asking her about it.
He asked, “Ma'am aap black water peete ho (do you drink black water)?” This compelled Malaika to break into laughter. She then looked at the bottle and explained that it was black alkaline water. She then headed towards her car. For the unversed, black alkaline water helps minimise the acidity levels in one's body and gut, and also helps in enhancing your digestion.
Malaika, ever since the COVID-19 pandemic got the world to a pause, has been urging people to take up some form of exercise to remain fit. The dancer has always propagated a healthy way of living.
On the occasion of International Yoga day, she urged people to sign up for a yoga session on her fitness app. Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput too was one of her guest yoga instructors on that particular day. In September 2020, the actress was tested positive for COVID-19. She soon recovered as she remained home quarantined and took proper medical treatment. In May 2021, she penned a post describing how the deadly virus had weakened her.
