Malaika Arora On Why She Ended Her MARRIAGE With Arbaaz Khan: ‘I Wanted Different Things In Life, We Became Very Irritable People’
B-Town’s hottie Malaika Arora has made her OTT debut with her new talk show 'Moving In With Malaika', which was released on December 5 on Disney+ Hotstar. The first episode was graced by Farah Khan and it was an explosive one as host Malaika made some candid and shocking revelations. She talked about her relationship, divorce from Arbaaz Khan, and dating Arjun Kapoor. In one segment, Arora revealed why she ended her marriage with Arbaaz. 

While explaining what went wrong in their marriage, the Chaiyya Chaiyya girl said, “I was very young. I also changed. I wanted different things in life. And I think actually today we are better people.” She further revealed that it was after the release of Salman Khan starrer Dabangg they became very irritable people and started to drift apart. Even Farah agreed with her on this and mentioned she also noticed that they were drifting apart after the film. 

The actress also revealed that she got married to Arbaaz because she wanted to get out of her house. Arora stated, “I am the one who proposed to Arbaaz. Nobody knows. It was not Arbaaz who proposed to me. It was the other way around. I actually said, ‘I want to get married. Showering praises on her ex-husband, Malaika also revealed Arbaaz was the first person she saw after coming out of the operation theatre in a wheelchair post her major car accident. The actor kept asking her, 'Can you see?  and that "irrespective whatever it may be, past, present, future, he was there with her. 

Arbaaz and Malaika, who tied the knot in 1998, finalised their divorce in 2017. They are co-parenting their son Arhaan Khan together.
