Former couple Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan have indeed proven that the partners can be on cordial terms after divorce. They share a friendly bond with each other even after their separation and are often spotted together with their 19-year-old son Arhaan. Malaika- Arbaaz ended their marriage after 18- years of togetherness and both have now moved on in their lives. In a recent interview, the actress opened up about her divorce from Arbaaz and revealed that they have a much ‘better equation’ now.
Speaking with Masala magazine, Malaika mentioned that she and Arbaaz have become more mature and are happier and calmer people after their split. She also called the actor a 'wonderful man’ and wished the best for him in life. Talking about her decision to end her marriage, the Chaiyya Chaiyya girl explained that sometimes, people are wonderful but they just aren’t great together. Arora went on to state that she made her choice and that she puts herself first. “I think I made my choice and I put myself first. And I think by doing that, I am a much better person today. I have a better relationship with my son; he sees that I am much happier. I have a much better relationship with my ex-husband. I’m happy I made these decisions and I stood up for myself. So, for women out there, don’t be scared. Don’t be afraid to follow your heart. Yes, you will ruffle feathers but life is not easy. You can’t make everyone happy,” the 48-year-old actress was quoted saying.
Malaika is now dating actor Arjun Kapoor and the couple has been very vocal about their relationship in public. On the other hand, Arbaaz has found love in model actress Giorgia Andriani.
