Malaika Arora Opens Up About Her Road Accident, Says The Scar On Her Forehead 'Is A Reminder Which Will Stay Where I See It Every Day'

A few weeks ago, Malaika Arora was severely injured in a road accident. For the uninitiated, she was travelling to Mumbai from Pune after attending a fashion event. Reportedly, a bus and two cars collided with each other and one of them had hit the actress' car. The actress was injured and immediately rushed to the hospital. Now, she is doing better. In a recent interview, she opened up about her road accident and also spoke about a scar that would always remind her of the horrific car accident.
Speaking to Times of India, Malaika recalled the night and said, "It was after about a week that I saw myself in the mirror, finally. The scar was right there on my forehead - a stark reminder of what had happened, of the fragility of life. It wasn't vanity that came over to me at that time. Yes, vanity is crucial in this business, but it was the fact that this scar is a reminder which will stay where I will see it every day."
The actress went on to add that the scar won't stop her from getting back to life. She further revealed that she only prayed for two things when she met with an accident. She added, "I didn't want to die that night, and I didn't want to lose my eyesight. When the accident happened, I'm told I was constantly asking for my mother and my son Arhaan." Arhaan is Malaika's son from her husband Arbaaz Khan. She is now in a relationship with Arjun Kapoor. They have been dating for quite some time now. They always give fans major relationship goals. The couple is in no hurry to tie the knot.
