Malaika Arora Reveals How Son Arhaan REACTED After Her Brutal Car Accident: ‘He Was Howling On The Phone, He Didn’t Believe Anyone’
In a recent interview, Malaika Arora has revealed that her son Arhaan was howling on the phone as he was very worried after he learned about her car accident
In April this year, Malaika Arora met with a car accident while she was returning to Mumbai from Pune after attending a fashion show. Reportedly, a bus and two cars collided with each other and one of them hit the actress' car. Malaika sustained minor injuries on her forehead and eye and was immediately rushed to a hospital in Mumbai. Now in a recent interview, the actress has revealed that her son Arhaan, who is currently in the US, was badly affected by her brutal car accident.
Speaking to TOI, Malaika stated that Arhaan was 'howling on the phone' as he was very worried. Although he was told everything about her surgery and recovery, he didn’t believe anyone. The Chaiyya Chaiyya girl was quoted saying, “After my accident, he was howling on the phone, and he was worried and just ready to hop on to the next flight. She added, “Everyone was talking to him but he didn’t want to believe anyone. His friends had called and told him things. He had no clue of the extent of damage that I had suffered. He only wanted to be sure that I was fine. Although he was told everything about my surgery and recovery, he didn’t believe anyone. He thought everyone was merely pacifying him. We were both not at peace till we hadn’t spoken. I knew he was aware of what had happened, and once I got off sedation, I spoke to him and assured him that I was okay. Life is so fragile and weird. One minute, you are bouncing and the next minute, you can come that close to death.”
A week later, Malaika Arora took to her Instagram handle and penned a heartfelt note thanking the doctor, friends, and family members for being with her during her testing times. Arhaan is Malaika's son from her husband Arbaaz Khan. Malaika and Arbaaz have mutually parted ways and thus are on friendly terms with each other.
The actress is now in a relationship with actor Arjun Kapoor and the couple is quite vocal about their feelings and love in the public domain.
