Arjun Kapoor has been making headlines for different
reasons. The actor, who’s gearing up for the release of Panipat, recently made
his relationship with Malaika Arora official. Arjun and Malaika have been
seeing each other for a long time now. Reports of them taking the plunge hit
the web every now and then. While they have always dismissed the rumours of
them tying the knot anytime soon, Malaika and Arjun are not shying away from
talking about their love for each other in public.
However, the latest update is not about their relationship. A while back, the Namastey England actor surprised his fans with a new tattoo or if we can say tattoo no 2. Yes, the actor has gotten himself inked again and the tattoo is significant and personal. Arjun now wears the saying ‘Per Ardua Ad Astra’ on his arm. ‘Per Ardua Ad Astra’ is a Latin word and means ‘through adversity to the stars’ Sharing the deets on Insta, Arjun wrote, “Per Ardua Ad Astra - From adversity to the stars. As quoted by The Tribune, Arjun said, “It’s a Latin saying that translates to ‘through adversity to the stars’. All our lives, all of us want to rise to the occasion when the time comes, but most people get pushed against a wall, with circumstances being against them. Things don’t always fall in place. But eventually, the beauty of life is to be an underdog, rise to the occasion and be able to go beyond one’s potential because you believe in yourself.”
“The whole point is to come through and outdo the expectation of yourself and others because that is what I think has defined me. Nobody has ever given me a chance from day one and you somehow rise to the occasion and do better. It just felt accurate, intimate and personal for me. Tattoos are very personal, I already have one (he had previously inked the word Maa in Hindi as a mark to his late mother Mona Kapoor) and this is my second one,” he further added.
