Mandana Karimi On Getting TROLLED For Twerking In A Hijab: ‘Damn People Are Crazy, I'm Done
Bigg Boss 9 runner-up and model Mandana Karimi recently received a severe backlash after a video of her twerking in a burkha went viral. Many people slammed the actress on social media for hurting the sentiments of the Muslim community. In fact, they called her reel 'disrespectful.’ Mandana, on Monday, reacted to the hate messages she got following her twerking post in a hijab. She stated it’s a ‘crazy world’.

 Mandana posted a photo of herself on her Instagram stories and wrote, “And of course, reading comments on my burka reel. Damn people are crazy, this is a crazy world. I am done, I wanna be a (unicorn emoji).” In the picture, the Lock-Upp contestant was seen posing wearing a short black dress. For the unversed, the viral video showed Mandana in a black burqa, twerking to ‘The Beatnuts' Shakaboom at a store in Istanbul, Turkey. However, after receiving huge criticism, she later deleted the reel.  


Meanwhile, Karimi was last seen in Kangana Ranaut's hosted controversial reality show ‘Lock Upp’ where she entered as a wild card contestant. During her stay, she revealed many shocking revelations about her personal life. She revealed that she was in a secret relationship with a well-known director but he 'backed off' when she was pregnant and thus she had to abort her baby. 

Mandana also spoke about her failed marriage with ex-husband Gaurav Gupta and stated after their separation he slept with 'whoever she knew’
