Little did Manish Malhotra know that a harmless response to a comment on social media would lead to speculations that he is dating good friend Karan Johar. An exasperated designer has termed the conjecture – Ridiculous!
For a few days now, rumours of Manish Malhotra confirming
his relationship with Karan Johar has been doing the rounds on social media.
The speculations began when Manish took to social media and wished his BFF Karan
Johar on his birthday on Friday.
He had captioned the picture, “Happy happy birthday my
dearest bestest friend @karanjohar have a wonderful year ahead. 25! years of
friendship and working together..and many more years to come and may you keep
making the most wonderful films and keep being the spirited person that you
are.”
As soon he posted the picture, a user commented saying,
“You guys are the cutest couple” and Malhotra’s liking that comment sparked
speculations that Manish & Karan are dating.
Disgusted by how a harmless ‘like’ could lead to such
rumours, he told a portal, “Karan is like a brother to me. It’s just
ridiculous.”
We hope this puts all the speculations to rest.
