Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee has tested positive for COVID-19. The Family Man actor is under home quarantine and it was his team that confirmed it. According to a report in a section of the media, Bajpayee’s team revealed that the actor tested positive after the film Despatch director was infected with it. Manoj Bajpayee was shooting on the next project with Titli fame, director Kanu Behl. The actor’s team shared that the work on the film Bajpayee was shooting has been stalled for now.

The Times of India reported a statement shared by Manoj Bajpayee’s team. The statement reported read, “Manoj Bajpayee has tested Covid positive after his director was infected with it. The shoot has stopped and will resume in a couple of months. Manoj Bajpayee is on medication and recovering well. He is in self-quarantine at home and following all precautions.” The actor’s team revealed that the shoot of the OTT movie will resume in a couple of months now. Bajpayee’s team also shared that the actor is under medication and is recovering well.

As per the report, the film that the Satya actor was busy shooting is produced by Ronnie Screwvala. The movie will be shot in different locations in the country and abroad. The report stated that Bajpayee’s film will be shot in London, Delhi and Mumbai.

Meanwhile, in the past few weeks, several other Bollywood celebrities also contracted the Coronavirus. Brahmastra actor Ranbir Kapoor and Gangubai Kathiawadi director Sanjay Leela Bhansali tested positive for the virus. Alia Bhatt also underwent a COVID-19 test and confirmed on Thursday about testing negative. Alia, who went into quarantine immediately shared in the statement that she will resume work from Friday. The actress was spotted visited a temple with filmmaker Ayan Mukerji recently, on the occasion of Mahashivratri.
