Former Miss World Manushi Chhillar, and soon to be debuting in Bollywood, Manushi wished her fans in a unique manner. The actress who set to star opposite Akshay Kumar in Prithiviraj had a fan sharing an firecracker box image with her image on it. Fan sharing this image mentioned dedicating this Diwali to her, replying to this she urged her fan to celebrate Diwali keeping the well being of the environment in mind. Meanwhile, she also wished the fan and thanked him for the humbling gesture.
The fan’s tweet read, “Iss Diwali Manushi aapke naam (This Diwali is dedicated to you)!” Manushi shared this on her INSTA Stories, with the caption, “Thank you. This is really humbling but have a safe and clean Diwali. Let’s keep everyday pollution free. We all know it’s the need of the hour.” The former Miss World on several occasions was seen supporting the movements working towards the betterment of the environment. Besides this, she was roped in by UNICEF for Menstrual hygiene awareness.

Manushi who is set to play Sanyogita in Prithivraj, is a film based on 11th-century ruler Prithviraj Chauhan to be played by Akshay Kumar. Directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi and backed by Yash Raj Films, this historical drama is set to hit the screens on January 21, 2022. The movie was delayed due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, speaking to Rediff, she said, “It has been a long wait and definitely I’ve needed all the patience in the world to wait for its release but no one could’ve predicted the pandemic and everyone has suffered, some much more than others.
