Minissha Lamba Recalls Her Initial Days; Reveals She Was Accused Of Stealing Money By Her Landlady, 'I Vacated The PG In Two Days'

Minissha Lamba is one of the well-known stars in Bollywood. The actress made her debut with Yahaan. Minissha later went on to star in films like Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Well Done Abba, and Bheja Fry 2. As many are aware, she even participated in the season eight of Bigg Boss. The actress has had her share of ups and downs. And in a recent interview, she opened up about being accused of stealing money by her landlady during her initial days.
Talking to Radio host Siddharth Kannan, Minissha said, 'When I came to (Mumbai), I couldn't afford anything. I was staying in a PG, at a rent of Rs 5, 000 per month. At that time, the PG lady accused me of stealing. 'You have stolen money from my cupboard,' she claimed. I said, 'I haven't stolen money' so I vacated the PG in two days because it was a question about izzat.'
The actress further added, 'I didn't have money, I couldn't afford anything so I rented a flat for Rs 7, 000 per month which was like a big room. The whole flat was like a big room. It was so small, so small. But I couldn't afford anything more. At that time, it was about ego and pride, you know they'd accused me of stealing, I wasn't going to stay in this house anymore and I left. Of course, the lady found the money in the cupboard after some time.'
On the personal front, Minissha revealed that she is currently in a relationship. She is happy. She added that her new relationship started a few months after she got a divorce from her husband Ryan Tham.
