Mira Rajput is quite excited to ring in her fifth wedding anniversary with husband Shahid Kapoor, here’s how she’s gearing up for the big day
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput are among one of the most celebrated couples of B-town. Well, their arranged cum love marriage is nothing short of a fairytale. Their jodi was arranged by their parents but look at them now, shelling out major couple goals in anything and everything they do. Well, interestingly, the duo is all set to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary in a couple of days, that is, on July 7, 2020. And it looks like Mira is quite pumped up about the same and her latest Instagram story serves as enough proof.
In a special throwback picture reposted by Mira Rajput from one of her fan clubs, we could see her posing with Shahid Kapoor. The snap was taken just after Shahid and Mira tied the knot. While the lady looked stunning in her pastel pink lehenga, Shahid complemented her in an off-white sherwani. The picture oozed so much love as both Shahid and Mira were holding hands. Mira, in her caption, wrote, “5 days to 5 years!” We absolutely understand your excitement, lady!
As for the Coronavirus lockdown, Shahid and Mira, along with their munchkins Misha and Zain, are out there spending some quality time with each other.

In an old conversation, Shahid had spilled the beans about how the transition after their wedding was a little tough on Mira “She got married so young, had two kids and had to figure out how to deal with that when she was just stepping out of being a kid herself. She must have had her dreams and desires but she pushed those aside. That’s a lot to deal with. Also, the fact that we have an age difference, we are 13 years apart,” said the actor.
