‘Koffee With Karan’ is one of the most popular celebrity chat shows hosted by ace filmmaker Karan Johar. As the show is returning with its exciting 8th season, we have stumbled upon a controversial clip from the show when Mira Rajput took a sly dig at KJo for not mentioning her husband Shahid Kapoor’s name in the best actors’ list. Karan was left shocked by Mira’s sudden trolling as he looked uncomfortable.
According to several media reports, in an old episode of KWK, Mira and Shahid appeared together and during a fun segment, Mira turned host and asked some questions to Karan. Mira gave him the list of actors to rank in terms of their talent or acting abilities. The list included names of Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Sidharth Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor, and Aditya Roy Kapur. Hearing the list, ‘shocked’ Shahid asked, “Why am I not on that list?” To this, she said, “Because he never asks, he never mentions you in any of his lists.” Mira took a sly dig at the host, who was left surprised. This old video has gone viral on social media with some netizens claiming that Karan Johar removed this part from the show. Reacting to it, one Reddit user commented, “I watched the episode on Hotstar and they edited this out. Why do you think Karan excludes Shahid?”
Meanwhile, Koffee With Karan is returning with the 8th season and if reports are to be believed, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be gracing the first episode of the show.
