Mission Mangal: While ISRO Team Prepares For Chandryaan 2, They Send Out A Special Tweet For Akshay Kumar
After treating their fans with different posters and teaser, the makers recently released the much-awaited trailer of Mission Mangal. The film stars Akshay Kumar with his team of space scientists- Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Nithya Menen and Sharman Joshi. The trailer is based on the true story of ISRO’s journey to Mars.

With this, the team of ISRO wished Akshay and send all the wishes for Mission Mangal. Taking it to Twitter, they wrote, "As #ISRO prepares for landmark launch of #Chandrayaan2, #TeamISRO wishes  @akshaykumar  all the best for #MissionMangal and all his future endeavour"

Returning the favour, Akshay took to Twitter and wished the team of ISRO all the luck for their upcoming launch of Chandrayaan 2. The actor wrote, "Thank you so much and wishing best of luck once again to #TeamISRO for #Chandrayaan2"

The film's trailer was released a few days go and received a tremendous response, and Akshay feels its time for such stories to be told. "Few people know NASA sent a satellite to Mars for close to Rs. 6000 crore and ISRO did it in only Rs. 450 crore. Just see the difference. A little common sense and we saved a lot of money. Can you believe this story has not been told yet? 1 want to tell it, that's why I came on board." he adds expressing his admiration for this incredible story of 'jugaad'.

Produced by Balki and Akshay Kumar, directed by Jagan Shakti, the makers are hoping that the film becomes a landmark in Indian cinema, much like the Hollywood sci-fi films. A film that inspires as much as it entertains. Presented by Fox Star Studios, produced by Cape of Good Films, Hope Productions and Fox Star Studios.

Mission Mangal releases this Independence Day, battling with John Abraham and Mrunal Thakur starrer Batla House.
